I just finished reading this book and I also listened to the wonderful songs as I went from chapter to chapter - it brought tears to my eyes. Overall, what I came away with in reading this book was that the lessons learned as a child go a long way towards making a happy, well-balanced adult. This children’s book teaches in a fun and interactive way, incorporating lyrics to several songs, which can be read as poetry, listened to on YouTube. I encourage you to allow your little ones to memorize the lyrics to these songs as they impart life lessons.

This former kindergarten teacher/school administrator is so excited to see lessons about creativity as well as life woven into this beautiful story about a young boy and his dad. Teachers are always looking for quality literature to show kids that rough patches happen to everyone. Let's see how Marco discovers that new places are just adventures. Love that the inspiration for the book came from the author's experiences with his own children.
