For more than 25 years, I’ve carried a deep desire to tell stories that are driven by people—their hearts, emotions, and inner journeys. My writing explores love, redemption, whimsical thoughts, anger, adversity, and the courage to overcome what can feel like impossible odds.

My first real step into storytelling began in 1995 at a UCLA book fair. I met a well-known author and asked how he managed to write such a long book…it seemed like such a huge task. He smiled and said, “I don’t focus on the number of pages… only on the story I want to tell—one page at a time.”

That night, inspired, I sat down at my computer and started writing Crooners—a story that had been living in my head. I became so absorbed in the characters that I forgot all about word counts. Before long, I’d written more than 300 pages.

Eventually, I adapted Crooners into a movie script. Though it sat untouched for years, family encouragement recently brought it back to life—now as a more condensed, reimagined novel.

A few years later, in 1999, I published my poetry collection, a series of reflections and dedications to my three daughters, former wife, family and friends. Since then, I’ve also written concepts for half-hour sitcoms, including for Living Single and Martin.

If you decide to read any of my work, I hope the stories connect with something real in your own life…something that moves you, challenges you, or simply makes you feel.

And when you do, I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Thanks for being here—and welcome to Levron Publications.
