Author Bio
Norvel McDonald grew up in New York City and Uniondale, Long Island. He graduated from Uniondale High School and went on to earn a BSBA degree from Northeastern University in Boston, followed by an MBA from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
Throughout his professional career, Norvel worked primarily for two Fortune 100 telecommunications companies in marketing and sales, spending the majority of his tenure in leadership positions where he guided teams and strategies with vision and purpose.
He enjoys playing golf, traveling throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Mexico, and listening to soft jazz, R&B soul, salsa, and classical music.
Norvel is the proud father of three daughters and four grandchildren. Along with his sweetheart, their love and support remain a constant source of inspiration in his life and work.
Writing has been a passion of Norvel’s for more than twenty-five years. He has written several television scripts and authored multiple books that span genres of reflection, imagination, and human connection
